The Business Service Teams target services to business through leveraging the resources of Workforce agencies located at each CareerLink.
Assessment of skills gaps and development of employee skills lead to providing a solid foundation for competitiveness, innovation and growth for the 21st century workforce.
Each CareerLink Business Service Team utilizes the WIB business needs assessment survey and collaborates with the Business Retention and Expansion Program,
the Northwest IRC, and the Center for Workforce Information and Analysis.
Regional employers are using skill gap analysis to access the training of both prospective and incumbent workers. Training and education plans meet specific
needs of individual employees, allowing them to improve their career potential while adding value to the company's world wide competitiveness.
