North Central clients are often requested to draft a one-page document explaining what their company does. This seminar will assist companies in developing a marketing profile and identifying key product strengths. The speakers will also be available on Wednesday, September 29, 2009, for one-to-one pre-scheduled company appointments to assist companies in developing a company profile. Energy Grant Workshop – Thursday, July 9, 2009, at North Central Office – Ridgway, PA ~ Learn how to navigate Energy Grants. There is no charge, but pre-registration by Tuesday, July 7, 2009, is required. Click here for details.

Changes to the “Market Access Grants for Program Year Commencing June 2009 – July 2010” ~ Due to the Commonwealths current financial/budget position all Market Access Grants approved and or pending for review as of July 1, 2009, will be reduced to a maximum of $4,000. This is down from the $5,000 amount of this past year. There is a chance the Market Access Grant Program will be eliminated.

U. S. Export Regulation and Compliance Workshop – Tuesday, August 11, 2009 - Innovation Park, University Park,  PA ~ Over the last few years, the U.S. Government has increased enforcement activities and significantly increased the penalties for export violations. This ½ day workshop will provide pertinent information on U.S. Export Regulations and Export Compliance. Susanne Cook, an international attorney with Pittsburgh-based Cohen & Grigsby, will be the presenter. PA Pavilion at bauma 2010, Munich, Germany, April 19 – 25, 2010 ~ bauma is the world’s largest and most important trade fair for the building industry. Held every 2 years, bauma is a hub for international business and an important venue for gathering information and establishing contacts. It is where building and construction experts from all over the world can be informed about state-of-the-art technology.
